HINDUISM
Hinduism is considered one of the oldest religions in the world and is widely practiced throughout Asia because of its freedom of belief and peaceful view of the world. Hinduism is a pantheistic religion that is often mistaken for polytheistic because of the numerous deities but the truth is that the deities are all manifestations of the same god, Brahman. From Brahman we have deities but we also have the Jiva and the Atman. These two words represent our soul which is a part of Brahman. Beyond this, they also believe in reincarnation but they call the cycle Samsara. In this cycle one is born, dies and reborn as the same jiva and can only progress in their journey towards Brahman
A person might think they want materialistic pleasures and Hinduism accepts that knowing that at some point the jiva will know that it wants more. Upon this realization the person might follow one of four paths to get what the really want. Which is eternal bliss knowledge, and being.
